Faribault Heritage Days is set for June 13-16 and the city will be filled with fun!
On Wednesday, the Rice County Historical Society Museum will be open, and those with a button can receive a free tour of the Faribault Woolen Mills. If you love local talent, be sure to check out the MN Sings Talent Contest followed by youth karaoke. Thursday the city wide garage sales kick off and the carnival opens. Plus, don’t miss the concert in the park featuring the 8th Street Band. Also Thursday is the Mayor’s reception at the new 10,000 Drops Distillery. Friday is a fun filled day with a free community lunch, tours of the Faribault Woolen Mill, a Chalk the Walk event and craft show, the Creative Crawl, the Main Street Car Cruise on Central Ave, and a dance in the beer gardens. Saturday take in a youth fishing event, soap box races, a Kayak Tour, the Alexander Faribault House will be open, there is a touch of magic show and music at the band shell. That night is the Grand Parade, followed by the dance in the beer gardens.
