Recently, representatives from the Minneapolis/St. Paul based food blog, Twin Cities Burger Blog, made a stop in Faribault to a local restaurant and walked away with rave reviews of the burger they ordered!
The visitors went to the Depot Bar & Grill and ordered the Black & Ama-Blu Burger , awarding it a excellent rating of 4 1/2 out of 5 stars!
Of the experience, the writer wrote, “It only took one bite for the sharp and salty taste of the Blue cheese to show up front and center. It was delicious! I can’t think of a better tasting Blue cheese. If you like Blue cheese, you will love this. If you google “Caves of Faribault”, you will find out that this was the first Blue cheese made in America back in 1936.” The writer went on to praise the beef patty, caramelized onions, and fries.
