The annual Faribault Heritage Days celebration takes place June 12-15 with something for everyone in the family!

A carnival fills Central Park with rides, games, music, and fun!
If you love history, you’ll want to visit the Rice County Historical Society Museum will be open for $3 or free with button during the hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Wed. – Fri. and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sat.

The Concert in the Park series kicks off in Central Park at 7 p.m. on Thursday with music by The 8th Street Band. Check out the Cardboard Boat Race at the Faribault Family Aquatic Center- 5 p.m. The Mayor’s Reception will be held at Buckham West on Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m.

On Friday, the Faribault Main Street Car Cruise takes place from 6 – 9 p.m., and during that time, the Creative Crawl will also be underway, and the Alexander Faribault House will be open for tours. That evening, head to the beer gardens for music by Smoke Screen from 8-12pm. For the young adults, take in Teen Night on Friday at the Faribault Family Aquatic Center. There will be music, dance area, outdoor movie on big screen, concessions. “Emoji” movie to play at dark.

Saturday is a full day of fun with the Youth Fishing Contest in the morning, the Soap Box Derby Race, and a Kayak tour. The band shell is pumping out music all day starting with Andy Tackett and ending with the Magic Sunshine Band. And of course, everyone loves the parade!

If you like to score a deal, the a craft show is in Central Park and the City Wide Garage Sales will be held during the week.
