Hard to believe, but the Rice County Fair in Faribault is already here! Running from July 17-22, the Rice County Fair has fun for the whole family!
Memories are made at the fair! From the first time seeing a baby goat in the 4H barns, to seeing live demonstrations at the Rice County Historical Society Museum, riding the ferris wheel, taking a date to the rodeo, or vying for the title of Fair Queen, there is something for everyone at the Rice County Fair and great memories to last a lifetime! The beer garden is the place to be for live music with the The Jupes playing on Thursday night. Friday night don’t miss Old Country Boys, and Street Talk takes the stage on Saturday night.
Grandstand action kicks off on Wednesday with the Pro Dirt Jam. Thursday grandstand crowds will get to watch the Enduro races. Friday is Barnes PRCA Rodeo, and Saturday is the NTPA truck and tractor pull. On Sunday is local favorite grandstand event the Demolition Derby.
Additionally, there will be the Best of the Best Ag awards ceremony, the Faribault Community Band, Tuey the Juggler, and the White Side Walls. Plus carnival games, all sorts of rides including Faribault-created Tilt-a-whirl, fun fair food, free entertainment stages, animal barns, and open class exhibit halls to explore.
